If you live in Chicago you would notice the gradual shift in the weather, as it’s getting a little chilly(I know it’s just September!) but my city is known for its bipolar weather. Although, fall is most people’s favorite season due to the beautiful colored leaves 🍁 ranging from various shades of red, yellow, purple, black, orange, pink, magenta, blue and brown to the littler layering of outfit.
As the weather grows colder, my priorities shift from aesthetics to practicality. And for the weather In Chicago, staying warm is considered a necessity and it gets a bit challenging layering up and still look stylish compared to summer, where wearing a simple jumpsuit or sundress could do the trick.
Since the weather hasn’t totally switched in my city I opted for a more light layering while adding one of the autumn colors (burgundy) to usher in the season.
Boots are essential for fall/winter season and is considered chic when paired correctly. To compliment the outfit pairing the shirt dress with a block ankle boots essentiate my legs which aren’t so long (I’m 5’3 people😂)
Shirt dresses are also in season and can be layered. Pairing the shirt with a crop sweater and a retro waist belt to elevate the look for a cooperate look or brunch meeting with a new client. You guys know I love serving an effortless boss lady slay, so I hope you guys incorporate this look in your style.
