I have decided to share with you guys my experiences with restaurants and eatery i visit from time to time because I honestly eat a lot, from healthy to traditional cuisine. I love to tickle my taste buds once in a while. To kick start the summer vibe, I visited Bombobar a dessert place on Green street. Bombobar is the sister eatery to Bar Siena and is located in 832 W Randolph St.
Bombobar offers coffee, gelato and Italian pastries on the go. The uniqueness of the cooler chocolates were A1. The menu is very explanatory and cautionary with detailed specification for customers allergic to nuts, gluten etc.
I personally love a well presented dessert and of course something instagrammable(who am i kidding) 😂
The Bomboloni "an Italian holeless doughnuts" with their six flavors to pick, tasted like it was freshly made but the sugar sprinkles took me a minute to get used to.
I ordered the chocolate s'mores and white chocolate oreo and the four quantity of bomboloni with the original, raspberry, vanilla bean custard, nutella. Just to share my thoughts and experience with you guys so I had order a variety which I didn't eat alone of course.
Considering the number of people trooping in, the orders were made almost immediately. Although, I wish they had more space to accommodate more customers.
It is a little pricey, I paid $33.54 but for the great taste, ambience, unique gelato flavor i personally think it's worth it.
I opted for a casual outfit pairing the short denim with a simple white tee and the red blazer to add a little color. Adding a pair of comfy sneakers due to the numerous commitment I had. I was going for a very casual sporty look.
I hope this review is helpful if you're looking for a unique spot and I recommend it also for those visiting Chicago with a sweet-tooth.
